Our Study Material

 

Preliminary Test:

On enrolment, every student is provided a preliminary test in order to help us judge the initial/raw score of the student. Stage-I study plan is based on the performance of student in this test and on the amount of time that student can devote to preparation.

 

 

Stage-I: Understand

A set of seven books + seven computer based tests

The purpose of Stage-I is to provide a clear idea of GMAT, clear all myths, and to help the student in developing 'Concepts' tested on GMAT. By Concept-Examples-Explanations approach adopted in all the stage-I books, we ensure that the student understands GMAT and all the concepts tested in it.

 

Book 0: Quant Concept Builder:

This book is sent in soft form to a student after s/he enrols to constructively fill the gap between enrolment and receiving the material.

Purpose:

  • To provide the conceptual knowledge of all the quant topics.
  • To provide practice questions chapter-wise, with detailed solutions, for concept-building.
  • To provide the approach for DS questions.

This book contains around 450 examples and practice questions with detailed solutions. At this stage, the difficulty level is sub-par with respect to GMAT and the focus is on concepts building. 

 

Book 1: The Best Stuff to Start With

Purpose:

  • To give the students, a clear idea of GMAT, scope of syllabus, scoring pattern, and common pitfalls.
  • To clear all the myths associated with GMAT.
  • To provide a basic approach/strategy to all type of questions.
  • To give a concise overview of all the topics and make the students cover the breadth of syllabus (but not depth, at this stage).
  • At end of the book, make the student take a paper based diagnostic test.

The book contains all type of questions appearing in GMAT: AWA, RC, SC, CR, PS, and DS. In all, there are around 200 examples + practice questions in this book.

 

Book 2: One Approach for Any…Reading Comprehension

Purpose:

  • To provide the student, one strategy for tackling any passage on GMAT.
  • To provide sample RC questions for regular practice.
  • To provide detailed solutions to all the practice questions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.

This book contains almost 250 questions (50 passages with 5 questions each, on average) with detailed solutions.

 

Book 3: Panacea for Sentence Correction

Purpose:

  • To provide in-depth knowledge of all the SC rules tested on GMAT.
  • To provide practice questions chapter-wise for concept-building.
  • To provide detailed solutions to all the practice questions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.
  • To provide tips/short-cuts for improving efficiency and accuracy.

This book provides two rounds of eight chapter-wise questions. In all, this book contains around 250 questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 4: Panacea for Critical Reasoning

Purpose:

  • To provide one approach for sorting any type of CR question.
  • To provide practice questions, type-wise, in order to help the student in gaining the ability to scrutinize each type of CR problem.
  • To provide detailed solutions to all the practice questions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.
  • To provide tips/short-cuts for improving efficiency and accuracy.

This book provides two rounds of six chapter-wise questions. In all, this book contains around 120 questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 5: Tablet for Analytical Writing Assessment.

Purpose:

  • To provide a deep insight into the analysis of an argument and analysis of an issue.
  • To help the student in understanding the expectations and scoring criteria for AWA.
  • To provide an effective template/structure for writing each type of essay.
  • To provide an effective time management strategy for this section.

 

Book 6: Quant Reference Book

A bible for all topics of quant. This exhaustive book deals with every quant topic from the very basics to the most difficult level. This book would be your friend for all the stages and you can refer it for any topic that you feel you lack the edge in!

 

Stage-II: Practice

A set of four books + four computer based tests.

The purpose of stage-II is to help the students in gaining the ability to apply the concepts, learned in stage-I, when the questions are not segregated topic-wise.  

Book 7: Move to Another Level: Quantitative Aptitude

Purpose:

  • To provide practice questions, at par with GMAT difficulty level, in a shuffled-up (non-topic-wise) manner.
  • To provide detailed solutions to all the practice questions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.

This book contains close to 250 practice questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 8: Move to Another Level: Reading Comprehension

Purpose:

  • To provide further practice questions and provide detailed solutions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.

This book contains almost 150 questions (25 comprehensions with six questions each)

 

Book 9: Move to Another Level: Critical Reasoning

Purpose:

  • To provide further practice questions in a shuffled-up (non-topic-wise) manner and provide detailed solutions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.

This book contains almost 130 questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 10: Move to Another Level: Sentence Correction

Purpose:

  • To provide further practice questions in a shuffled-up (non-topic-wise) manner and provide detailed solutions so that the student is able to learn from mistakes.

This book contains almost 250 questions with detailed explanations.

 

 

Stage-III: Master

A set of four books + four computer based tests.

The purpose of stage-III is to help the students in mastering the concepts tested in GMAT by first solving questions which are a shade more difficult than the average GMAT questions and then by solving questions which are at par with average GMAT difficulty level.

 

Book 11: The Chosen Few

Purpose:

  • To provide a set of very difficult SC, RC, and CR questions and help the students in tackling difficult GMAT verbal questions.

This book contains almost 300 difficult questions of SC, RC, and CR with detailed explanations.

 

Book 12: The Final Pillar: Quantitative Aptitude

Purpose:

  • To help the student in getting back to the average GMAT difficulty level quant questions and gain more confidence for the actual test.

This book contains almost 250 questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 13: The Final Pillar: Sentence Correction

Purpose:

  • To help the student in getting back to the average GMAT difficulty level SC questions and gain more confidence for the actual test.

This book contains almost 150 questions with detailed explanations.

 

Book 14: The Final Pillar: Critical Reasoning

Purpose:

  • To help the student in getting back to the average GMAT difficulty level CR questions and gain more confidence for the actual test.

This book contains almost 120 questions with detailed explanations.

 

 

The Final Three Weeks

A set of 15 verbal sets + eight computer based tests

The purpose of this final stage is to provide adequate practice to help the student in fine tuning time-management and accuracy, while building stamina for the G-day!
